Looking Back on Our Snow Trip!

So Jess and I got the chance to go to Utah (my first time!!!) and have a little fun in the snow with her family! We got to snowboard at Snow Basin, Which is were the down hill skiers held their even in the 2002 Winter Olympics. The Snow there on the first day, was less than great, But we recovered with pain pills(I tore stuff in my arm on a bad fall). The next day we got to do some night skiing(also our first time). It was amazing Powder Mountain is fantastic, good snow, good weather, good people. The trip was a success. And on top of all the good activities, we got to spend time with Aunt Lona and Uncle Dean. They were amazing and were great hosts. They got us matching pajamas. We even had a fondue night!

Fall Semester Pics

Hello everyone, the semester is over for me and almost for Jess. Only two more days! I am in Dallas over winter break working at LUSH. Check em out its a really cool store. WE are back, we were just too busy this summer to keep up, sorry everyone.

Summer was a blast we got back from cali and Jess had an Alaskan Cruise (photos coming soon), I was in Texas for awhile. then summer really began when he returned home for the remainder of the summer. Jess and I spent it cuddling watching movies, going to Kansas City, Dallas, and moving Jess out to Texas for school. We also had some fun, I had my wisdom teeth removed but it ended well when just a few days later, Jess and I went to see Incubus Live in Dallas. The whole summer was a blast. Now were in Dallas back at school, I am busy all the time with 17 hours and Jess getting her masters, and two jobs! Last night we celebrated Jess turning 23. We had a good ol' time. Jess is done with VU

This last weekend Jess Graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California!
Here are some pictures that we took the day of graduation at the beach, they were taken by Jess's dad, Gary, who used to be a photographer in college. Well, this last weekend Jess came to Texas this last weekend. And it was a blast, Jess flew in from LAX on Thursday and she met Lianne and Woody.(the worship pastor and his wife were Ryan goes to church)
The next morning Jess and I went to Starbucks before Chapel, the speaker had some interesting things to say, and then our weekend began! We went to Mockingbird Station and went shopping, we found some cool pants and shirts. Afterward we went to the water gardens in Dallas. We followed up with a nice dinner at the best BBQ place called "Red Hot and Blue" we ate a ton!!! Who would of thought of putting pulled pork on a burger, Jess loved it and I had the best pulled pork sandwich.
The next day we went our ways, Jess went shopping with the girls from the church(for over 6 hours) and I had to go to work, But!!! After work me and Derek, a guy that leads worship for the youth and I work with went on a double date with us. Us and Derek and his girlfriend Shelby, we went to the lake and had sweet tea, then went to Red Robbin and had a blast. It's fun to share great times with great people.
Sunday was fun me and Jess got to have free Starbucks and Jess learned some bass technique and some songs. We then went to Pei Wei where I learned something AMAZING! I no longer hate mushrooms, big burden for Jess when she is cooking. We came back home were Woody kicked my butt at Ping Pong(I showed Jess out to win later on when I whooped her in a few games, and then she beat me badly) That night we went to Olive Garden and had great food and had a great talk about God and the talent He gives people, I will remember that talk for ever, it was good. Then the best part is we got to go to BJ's and have a pazzucci!
Monday we went to DTS and did all of the stuff that Jess had to do to get ready to be in Dallas in the fall. It will be the last time she gets on a plane without.
Two more weeks and its ova! (over ova get it?)
This week we learned that deep conversations can be really fun and educational. It really was a great time here are some pictures of what we did.

Ryan Bell and Jess "The Hottie" Hanko

SO I went to Cali this last weekend to SURPRISE Jess. I showed up a day earlier than we planned. She was! I went Thursday and now I am sitting in Phoenix going back to Dallas. Jess and I went to San Diego. We went to Croce's its a Jazz restaurant that was amazing there was live music and great food, with steak and duck. Carline's house, where we went to the original pancake house and ate breakfast with her and Carline's mom, that was a blast. The Outback was a blast with some of the best coconut shrimp either one of us ever had! Also last minute we dyed Jess's hair and cut it. I wish you guys could see the gift Jess got me. She made a painting and its BEAUTIFUL
